close to an oakland woman missing since thursday are frustrated with efforts to find her. family and freeways of the woman held a prayer vigil yesterday in the neighborhood where she lived. the 31-year-old was last seen on a surveillance video on thursday morning at the corner of telegraph and 34th avenue. the missing woman's mom says that the response from oakland police has been slow in the critical days after she disappeared. >> it is important when people disappear like this, the police need to get on it right away and not think they left on their own accord especially with the circumstances being what they are. >> we tried to contact the oakland police department for a comment and the kept -- department has yet to respond the. >> speeding may have caused a weekend accident in daly city that killed three members of the same family. another passenger was seriously injured in the two car collision on saturday night west of 280. family members and friends of the victims gathered at site yesterday. people in the neighborhood say that drivers routinely exceed the posted speed limi

a k-9 member of the richmond police department. period foot express headquartered in east oakland, is matching the $10,000 reward offered by two police unions. the police dog was poisoned at the home of the officer he partners with. guns were stolen from the home, as well, and the officer's family dog died after it was also poisoned. ought man charged with stealing a lux i didn't rate and running it aground is preparing his defense from the san mateo county jail. the other two were arrested and they is been released. the 63-year-old has pleaded not guilty to grand theft, receiving stolen property, and vandalism accused of stealing the 82' yacht and damage it on the shoreline. the others taken off the boat, a 56-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man did not know the yacht was stolen. >> our investigation convinced us they were unwitting and they understood him to have inherited the boat and they are witnesses at this point. >> the prosecution will hold the suspect liable for damages to the yacht which are estimated at 500,000 as well as the cost of the we coast guard recovery effort

. san francisco, oakland -- it is san francisco, i'm being told. but again, we have overcast skies. some of us dealing with patchy dense fog, once again. i'm starting out with a still shot of the radar and you can see rain in washington, oregon is drive. california, high and dry. temperatures will continue to warm under this ridge of high pressure. a little bit of moist flow at times. a weak, weak onshore breeze bringing back the clouds and patchy fog. the ridge of high pressure, the associated sinking area is helping to pin it to the ground. you can imagine it kind of pushing it down as it -- as it continues to strengthen. that's what we're seeing this morning. widespread, patchy, dense, novato and petaluma reporting visibility down to .25. san jose overcast skies but it doesn't look like it's right there at the ground level. so you should be okay. but just take it easy out there. notice it is widespread. half moon bay reported visibility three miles right now. as we progress to the morning hours, it will burn off by 8:00, 9:00. looking better. by 10:00, 11:00, it takes until it finally
